Guru Rinpoche Day: Monthly Tsok Offering
Each month on Guru Rinpoche Day, the Samye NY community gathers to honor Guru Padmasambhava and the masters of our lineage through The Concise Daily Practice, followed by protector offerings and a short tsok feast using The Cloud-Banks of the Two Accumulations.
Tsok offerings are among the most sacred practices in the Vajrayana tradition—a profound way to restore samaya, purify obscurations, and accumulate vast merit and wisdom. This essential feast offering reaffirms our connection to Guru Rinpoche’s blessing, harmonizes outer and inner environments, and nourishes the mandala of practitioners and unseen beings alike.
Participation in this practice is open to those who have received empowerment into the Tukdrup Barchey Kunsel mandala. All empowered practitioners are warmly welcome to join, either in person at Samye Hermitage New York or online via Zoom.
